CHOKMA
/chok-mah/ - noun;
a welcome greeting;
origin language: Chikashshanompa'
I am the founder of Minko Indigenous Consulting, LLC and the Indigenous Mound Research Network (IMRN) Database, where I focus on the intersection of field-based research, Indigenous knowledge, and applied forensic practice. My work is grounded in hands-on experience across law enforcement, medico-legal environments, and field documentation. I am also engaged in advocacy and research surrounding Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW), particularly where forensic limitations, investigative gaps, and cultural factors intersect. This work reflects a strong commitment to justice, visibility, and culturally informed approaches within forensic and investigative contexts.✜
